Have you ever seen a blood moon? Or have you ever wondered how they occur? Do you even know what they are? Well in this story you will learn what they are, how they happen, and some superstitions of blood moons.
Blood moons can also be called a lunar eclipse. A blood moon happens when the moon goes into the shadow of the earth. Due to the sun hitting the earth the shadow of the earth is red. As a result the sunset is a reddish orange. When the moon goes into this shadow of the earth and the moon turns orange this is called a blood moon. This can only happen when the sun, the earth, and the moon are lined up. Now let’s get to that superstition. There are beliefs that when the blood moon occurs a zombie apocalypse will happen. Isn’t that crazy? So now you probably have learned a lot more about blood moons or lunar eclipse.
